High School: Edina High School, Edina, MN - graduated 1964
University: Univ. of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN - Mechanical Engineering
about 10 credits short of BSME.

Computer related experience:
From May98 to present employed by IBM, Network Client Division
Rochester, MN. Designed and wrote the export utility for 'Orion'
(now called IBM Secure Server on Demand). Designed and wrote the
Command Line Utility for IBM Network Station Manager. Invented the
command language (SGCL - Standard General Configuration Language)
used by NSMCL. See the document titled 'IBM Network Station Advanced
Information' at http://www.ibm.com/nc/pubs for more information about NSMCL
and SGCL. Designed and wrote most of the export utility and all of NSMCL and
SGCL. These are multi threaded multi tiered Java enterprise tools/applications.
Taught a Java class to 120 IBM employees fall of 1998.

From Mar96 to Mar98 employed by IBM AS/400 Partners in Development in
Rochester, MN. Originated and authored the PID client/server home page
at; http://www.as400.ibm.com/developer/client/ Taught AS/400 client/server
connections to IBM Business Partner programmers for several development
environments (VB, PB, Delphi, Clipper, Java).
Wrote Java AS/400 client/server demos in use at PID including IBM
Network Station (UNIX JVM) speed tests (for all Java VM's and JDBC to

for both Java client/server demos and database migration tools written
by Peter Van Wazer.

Started South Fork Software in 1989 for custom Clipper programming
also originated, developed and marketed Clipper applications for
agriculture.

Java enterprise application development. Multi - threaded, multi - tiered
client / server programming. Can show you how to use the internet as
a secure private network. Experienced with sockets, SSL and RMI communications.
Will design and write a complete application or parts as required.

Also can give your company a Java quick start by rewriting one or more of
your applications in Java then using that application to teach your
programmers Java client/server programming. Rewriting Clipper, dBase or
FoxPro applications a specialty.

A set contract price can be offered after studying the code for your
Clipper, dBase or FoxPro application. Estimates or price ranges for
conversions from other languages. Teaching time additional.
